Job Bank

About the Job Bank

1. What is the Job Bank?

The Job Bank is where members, affiliates, suppliers, and partners can post job opportunities at no cost. Organizations and individuals outside the CNAR community are also welcome to submit postings for a fee of $150. The Job Bank is open to everyone and can be browsed by anyone, including those outside the CNAR community. Take a look HERE!

Submitting a Posting

1. How do I submit a posting to the Job Bank?

Under Jobs, select “Post Jobs.” This section is open to everyone, including those without a Portal account. Enter the quantity and complete the information as prompted. Required fields are marked with an asterisk. If you are a member, affiliate, supplier, or partner, the $150 fee will be waived automatically on the Payment page.

Yes, RFPs are welcome in the Job Bank. You can submit one HERE. Depending on the complexity and length of your document, the RFP will either be included directly in the listing if it can be adapted without issue, or attached as a document if the formatting requires it.

You will receive an email confirmation once your posting has been submitted. If you do not see it in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder. If you still have not received a confirmation after 2 to 3 business days, check the Job Bank or reach out to AskCNAR@cnar-rcor.ca.

Your posting will appear on the Job Bank within 2 to 3 business days. Please note that during statutory holidays or periods when CNAR staff are attending the Annual National Conference, there may be a delay beyond the standard 2 to 3 business days. We appreciate your patience during these times.

You can include both in a single submission by adding the French title and a brief note in French at the top of the posting text to indicate that the French version follows. That said, submitting each as its own separate listing is recommended for clarity and to make each version easy to find independently.

No, the X does not indicate an error. It confirms that your file has been uploaded successfully. Clicking the X will remove the document, so leave it as-is if your upload is correct.

Your logo will appear at the top of the listing, directly below the title. Please upload it as a PNG or JPG file.

Payment

1. What payment methods are accepted for job listings?

At this time, CNAR only accepts credit card payments for job listings.

If the transaction does not advance after clicking Checkout, please close all windows of the browser you were using to access the Portal or Job Bank page. Once your browser has restarted and you reopen it, the issue should be resolved. If it persists, please try using a different browser.

This most likely indicates that your credit card has insufficient funds. Please ensure your card has enough available credit to cover the listing fee and try again. If the issue persists, you may need to use a different credit card. Feel free to contact AskCNAR@cnar-rcor.ca and we would be happy to look into why your card is not processing correctly.

Right after payment, you should receive both an email receipt and an email confirmation. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder first. If you do not find it there, it is possible that your organization’s email system blocked or filtered it out. If you still cannot locate your receipt, contact AskCNAR@cnar-rcor.ca and we would be happy to assist you.

Payment

1. Can I edit my posting after submission?

There is no self-serve option to edit a posting after it has been submitted. To request a change, email AskCNAR@cnar-rcor.ca with the details you would like updated.

If no expiry date is entered, your posting will default to an expiry of three months from the date it goes live. If you would like to extend your listing beyond the date you entered or beyond the three-month default, feel free to contact AskCNAR@cnar-rcor.ca. Those who paid for a listing may also request a deadline extension at no additional cost.

Please contact AskCNAR@cnar-rcor.ca if you are continuing to experience issues or have any additional questions.
